• Michael Tyler qualified as a doctor (MB ChB) in 1988 from Aberdeen University Medical School
• He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 1992
• He gained a Master of Surgery degree (ChM) for scientific research at Oxford
• He became acreditted as a plastic surgeon (FRCS plast) in 2000
• Mr Tyler is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in the NHS at Stoke Mandeville Hospital where he provides breast reconstruction and augmentive surgery.
• His practice also includes the care of burns patients in the Stoke Mandeville Burns Unit and he has a general plastic surgery caseload that includes hand surgery and surgery for skin cancer.
• Mr Tyler's private practice is principally cosmetic surgery based and is central around facial aesthetic surgery (facelift and rhinoplasty) but also includes breast surgery and abdominoplasty.
• His cosmetic surgery training was completed by an aesthetic surgery fellowship in 2000 at the Wellington Hospital, London where he worked with some of Britain's leading plastic surgeons.
• The practice is based at the BMI Paddocks Hospital in Princes Risborough.

He is a full member of the GMC and is on the specialist register as a plastic surgeon.

He is a member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstruction and Aesthetic Surgeons ( BAPRAS)
